چکیده
Abstract Background Non-healing surgical wounds is a risk in certain patients. Recently, allogenic plasma-rich-platelet (PRP) used such as regenerative treatment of different non-healing wounds. Purpose We explore the potential role using platelet-derived growth factors from single donor PRP, with freeze-thaw process, for scar ulcer. Methods have PRP preparation protocol that involved cycle centrifugation at mean speed 2400–2800 rpm blood taken an apheresis machine. Results To our knowledge, this first study (PDGF) apheresis, process. Four weeks after daily application al-PRP, ulcer progressed satisfactorily; six weeks, had healed. Conclusion concluded healing wound observed case, promising and suggests al-PRP might play treating ulcers. This must be confirmed future studies.

متن کاملEffects of Human Adipose-derived Stem Cells and Platelet-rich Plasma on Healing Response of Canine Alveolar Surgical Bone Defects
Background: Due to the known disadvantages of autologous bone grafting, tissue engineering approaches have become an attractive method for ridge augmentation in dentistry. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study conducted to evaluate the potential therapeutic capacity of PRP-assisted hADSCs seeded on HA/TCP granules on regenerative healing response of canine alveolar surgical bone...
متن کاملPlatelet-rich plasma and platelet-derived lipid factors induce different and similar gene expression responses for selected genes related to wound healing in rat dermal wound environment
Although platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is the plasma fraction that contains higher levels of platelet-sequestered proteins such as growth factors and chemokines, it is also abundant in bioactive lipids whose role in wound healing has not been well characterized. This study provides a preliminary evaluation for the effect of the lipid component of PRP on selected genes related to wound healing. Spr...
متن کاملPlatelet-rich plasma combined with skin substitute for chronic wound healing: a case report.
Contemporary management of chronic wounds focuses on improving natural healing and individualization of treatment. Incorporating multiple therapies has become increasingly common. Of interest are autologous growth factors, which are especially important in chronic wound healing and may contribute to tissue formation and epithelialization. Autologous platelet concentrate or platelet-rich plasma ...
متن کاملPlatelet quantification and growth factor analysis from platelet-rich plasma: implications for wound healing.
Growth factors released from activated platelets initiate and modulate wound healing in both soft and hard tissues. A recent strategy to promote the wound-healing cascade is to prepare an autologous platelet concentrate suspended in plasma, also known as platelet-rich plasma, that contains growth factors and administer it to wound sites. The purpose of this study was to quantitate platelet numb...
